DIRECTIONS TO THE TOUHILL

  • Take I-70 to Florissant Road (Exit 240). Travel South on Florissant Rd. to the SECOND entrance to the UMSL campus at Arnold B. Grobman Drive. Make the first right turn onto Touhill Circle. This will lead to the main circle drive drop off. Parking is available in the north garage, the one to your left as you pass under the bridge. You may also park in surface lots on the weekends and after 5 p.m. on weekdays.

  • Turn left at the SECOND entrance to the UMSL campus at University Drive and follow it around to the right as it turns into Arnold B. Grobman Drive. The Touhill Performing Arts Center is about a half mile down this road on the left. The drop off circle will be the SECOND driveway to the left (stay in the right lane as you pass the entrance to parking Lot E). Parking is available in the North Garage, the one to your right just before the bridge. You may also park in surface lots on the weekends and after 5 p.m. on weekdays.

  • Though we strongly recommend using the Main Entrance and the east side of the building, you may also park on the west side of the building in Lot K and access the building via the Lee Entrance or the Terrace Lobby. Please note that the walk from the parking lot to the building is lengthy, about 300 yards. Also note that there is not a connector road between the west side of campus and the east side of campus. If you are on the west side of the building and wish to go to the Main Entrance on the east side of the building you will need to exit campus.

  • There are FREE parking lots and garages surrounding the building. Permits are normally required, but patrons can park in the North Garage any time and in all other locations on weekends and after 5 p.m. on weekdays.

  • Please use the Main Entrance for dropping off patrons that have mobility issues. The walk from the drop-off point to the building is only 20 yards (60 feet). The drop-off point on the west side of the building is 77 yards from the door. There are 22 accessible parking spaces within 260 yards of the building; however, they do fill up quickly during large events.

  • We recommend using Uber or Lyft as a car service to get to and from the Touhill. Taxi Service has been difficult for many patrons as the drivers cannot find the building since we are on a campus. Uber and Lyft drivers tend to search for the building by name rather than a street address. This produces more accurate results on most mapping services. The building has two primary entrances, it is important that you and your driver meet at the right entrance. The best plan is to designate whether you are at the east side of the building (Main Entrance) or the west side of the building (Lee Entrance.)
