Free Does Not Equal Freedom, Theresa Carrington

What if we could make one small tweak to the way we address poverty and not only end it, but end it for someone in three years? And better yet, for that solution to be sustainable? With a little change we can end extreme poverty. Theresa Carrington set out to address the issue of extreme poverty. Her organization sought out impoverished artisan makers to produce baskets, with a mission to help them sustainably exit extreme poverty. Theresa and her team discovered the tipping point from extreme poverty to prosperity came when an artisan sold ten products a month for three years. The project was officially renamed to Ten by Three®, catapulting this sustainable formula into the spotlight and helping grow beyond baskets. This formula has been successfully replicated in 8 developing nations throughout three continents. Theresa has been internationally recognized for her work including by the United Nations.
