Changing Our Culture by Watching our Waste, Josh Allen

Everything about Josh’s baking company changed when they started measuring and managing their trash. Josh started Companion Baking in St. Louis in 1993 at the age of 24. His vision was clear and concise: create wholesome and delicious European breads with simple ingredients. Starting with just six breads in its product line, Companion quickly made a name for itself, receiving orders from various local restaurants and specialty stores.

Today, Companion’s award winning bread is served in more than 200 local restaurants, grocery stores and businesses around St. Louis and beyond. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
