Director of Finance

Join TEDxStLouis as Director of Finance! Help Shape the Future of Our Community Through Financial Leadership

Overview

Are you passionate about nonprofit financial management and community impact? TEDxStLouis is looking for a Director of Finance to lead our financial operations, strategy, and reporting. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring our organization’s financial health and sustainability, helping us inspire change and showcase the transformative power of ideas in the St. Louis region.

Whether you’re an experienced finance professional or someone eager to grow and contribute, we’ll provide the support, collaboration, and mission-driven environment you need to succeed in this key leadership role.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, and cash flow management.

  • Develop and manage annual budgets and long-term financial plans in collaboration with leadership.

  • Ensure compliance with nonprofit financial regulations, including IRS 501(c)(3) requirements and annual filings.

  • Provide financial insights to support fundraising efforts, grant applications, and donor reporting.

  • Work closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
