2018 will be our biggest year ever!
A note from TEDxGatewayArch Executive Director
As we wrap up our first month in the new year, I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped advance our mission in 2017. TEDxGatewayArch’s progress in creating an inclusive and equitable community of thought leaders in St. Louis is possible because of our great volunteers, sponsors, and event supporters. In the spirit of a new year, I want to share with you my vision for 2018 and beyond.
I’m thrilled how many lives TEDxGatewayArch has touched and the community of thinkers that we have assembled over the last 5 years. As we enter 2018 I’m honored to announce that we will be greatly increasing our programming and expanding our reach in the community. In April we will be presenting our first healthcare salon “Think Well” at the Sheldon. We will also be hosting a TEDxYouth event in the summer, our flagship event “What If?” at the Touhill in September, and a TEDxWomen event in early November.
2018 will be our biggest year ever!
From the very start of this journey I envisioned creating a diverse community of thought leaders working together to advance issues important to the people of St. Louis. After years of building a great team and proving ourselves to supporters we are now able to expand our community building efforts. The core of TEDx is all about sharing ideas, connecting people and helping to make positive change, I’m very excited that we will be doing more of that than ever in 2018. Best wishes to my fellow life learners as we explore and share what can be in St. Louis.
